Finally finished my birdhouse!

I needed a little quiet time after such a long and busy week so after Wayne and Bryant went to bed I stayed up and finished the birdhouse I started in class a few weeks ago. It feels good to finally have it finished. I'm very pleased with the way it came out. It is just really hard on my eyes because everything is so small. I sprayed it with acrylic sealer to protect it. So the flash reflected on it a bit.

Here is the front of the house. Click on the picture to see it larger. The butterfly came out really good. I thought Sandy's idea of the moss with purple flowers in the top opening and the "nest" in the bottom was such a good idea.

Here is the first side. The bluebird came out pretty good. Although I had to go back and highlight the wings. They looked a little strange at first. There is a tiny ladybug on one of the leaves and a bumble bee too.

Here is the other side. The flowers on the roof come from the back. These bumble bees are REALLY tiny.

This is the back. The purple flowers wrap on to the roof. There is a teeny-tiny ladybug on one of the leaves. Do you see it?

It is supposed to be in the upper 80's tomorrow. I'm not ready to turn my air on yet! Steph and Brian left tonight to go to Florida to pick up my Mom's dining room table, chairs and china cabinet.
