FIRE
It's often hard to see the good, when things seem really bad, but we had one of those lessons recently. My oldest daughter's (Stephanie) in-laws home caught fire on Friday, February 19th, 2010. God's grace overflowed in so many ways in that situation. The outside of their home is fine but the inside was nearly completely ruined either by fire, smoke or water damage. Her in-laws were home at the time but got out after a brief scare. Their cat passed away from smoke inhalation but Steph & Brian's 2 cats and 2 dogs were fine, although very confused. It's been a almost 6 weeks now and all things considered, they are doing well. They have great homeowner's insurance so everything is being taken care of as far as replacing their belongings and restoring their home. Our church family has also been wonderful providing food, cards and ministering through fellowship. They've had a lot of change, moving from hotel to hotel and are now finally in an apartment.
We thank God for His grace that spared their lives.
